If Client Arrives Late: We understand things happen, but we since we have a tight schedule and it would not be far to our other clients to make them wait, we cannot be held responsible for the time missed. We will do our very best to fit in some photos in the remaining time if there is any time left to the late client's session but cannot guarantee this. No refund or discount will be made for arriving late to your session.

Cancellation Policy: Due to this session date and booking release being so immediate to one another 50% of the deposit is none refundable. If client cancels with less than 48 hours notice prior to session or "no shows", then the entire 100% session deposit is retained and no refunds will be issued.

If photographer cancels: If the photographer needs to cancel due to an emergency with immediate family or themselves a full session refund will be given to client. 

​

General Edits & Retouching Edits: Once your session is complete, your photos will be processed with general edits. These edits include but are not limited to color grading, exposure, and cropping. These edits do not include, skin retouching, blemish removal, and stray hair edits or any other type of object removal or adding of an object, or any specialty edit. Once your gallery's general edits are complete, it is ready to view for you to select your photos. Once you select the photos you would like to purchase, Retouching/detail edits will be done. Retouching edits include but are not limited to blemish removal, teeth brightening, stray hair removal, and skin softening. Retouching/detail edits are very specific to each client's portraits. These edits do not include any specialty edits. By booking this session, the client gives permission to the photographer to use both general and retouching editing on images.

Specialty Edits: Client understand specialty edits will not be included in their package. Specialty edits include but are not limited to removing objects, photoshopping people places or objects (for example adding hair to a balding or thinning hairline), using the liquify tool or any tool to enlarge or diminish body parts (such as enlarging breasts, diminishing waist width, or enlarging or diminishing any other body part). If there is a specialty edit that is very important to you, then please express this to your photographer and if time permits the photographer

 

No filters, edits, alterations, or enhancements or any kind may be added to Upstream Visual Works' photos. Photos (like paintings) are the copyright property of the photographer. The client understands they are purchasing a copy of photos with permission to use the photographer's portraits for personal use only. No edits done by client or other photographers are allowed.

Aside from the limited Early Bird savings and 5 photos for $75 savings, no other discounts will be given. 

​

No other types of photos or photo sessions will be allowed during mini sessions. Please do not request for other types of photos such as "headshots". 

 

Client gives photographer permission to use their image in their portfolio and to advertise business (such as on website and their social media page. Please inform photographer prior to session if this is an issue. 

​

Client is held responsible to pay for the photos they selected from the general gallery. Once photos are paid for no refunds will be issued. 

​

Client understands that they do not have permission to keep, screenshot, copy, photograph any photos from their general edited photo gallery that they have not purchased.
